My name is Cherise Arthur and I am a first time author of "Sierra and Star" a children's book for children ages 6-8 years old. This is a sweet story about a young girl and the bond with her horse. Sierra loves horses more than anything in the world and she dreams of one day having a pony of her own. On her 8th birthday, Sierra is shocked to find a beautiful red pony on her lawn. She names her Star and the adventures begin This is the first book in the series of six books for Sierra and Star.

This book is beautifully illustrated by Marian Gorin who resides in Spain.
